8 Tips for Stella Electric Bike Batteries

When the battery is connected to the charger, always pay attention to the battery. We do not recommend charging overnight! Always charge the electric bicycle battery in a dry environment, preferably in a room with a smoke detector. The ideal ambient temperature is between 10 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Do not place the battery pack in direct sunlight or on a heater. The best environment is a dry place with temperatures between 10 and 25 degrees. Store the battery in a frost-free environment during winter.

Fall damage can damage the inside of your battery, even without obvious damage. Do not try to charge the battery after a fall, but have it checked by an expert as soon as possible. Never try to open or repair the battery yourself. Improper use is very dangerous.

Have you noticed any abnormalities with the battery, such as leakage, strong odor, overheating, smoking, or sparking during charging? Then immediately disconnect the battery from the power source. Place the battery pack outdoors, away from flammable materials.

Charge the battery at least once every three months. Consider the winter when people leave the battery in the shed for too long.

Do not use a (high-pressure) spray to clean the battery; instead, use a slightly damp cloth.
